The beginning

Welcome to my world!  My head goes to some funny strange places sometimes, and occasionally my body goes with it too!  I am a parent & grandparent, I was born in Wales and moved more years ago than I care or can be bothered to remember, maybe one day I will get back for good.

I have traveled across many lands and done a fair few things in this lifetime both before and since my diagnosis.  I will probably write this completely out of order, however I will try to do it right, just bear with me if I jump around a little because I am so excited about where I am at right now because even 6 months ago, the only way I thought I would be going was down hill. That was before I discovered CCSVI and the procedure to fix it.

What I write here is going to be my life's journey and random thoughts, some will make sense some won't I guess some people will like what I write but not all.

Well here goes....

I was born in Merlin's Town...that's Carmarthen for those who don't know, my mother was a nurse in the QAs and my father a military paramedic.  My father was from Trinidad & Tobago.  We lived in London while I was a baby and my brother was born there.  My parents were young when they married and myself & my brother were born 13 months apart, so I guess that and the strain of trying to find somewhere to live when you were black must have taken it's toll, anyway they split and we moved to Wales with mum to live with our grandparents, who I have to say were the BEST granparents in the world and I will not accept from anyone that theirs were better than mine!

Sadly, the only memories I have of my father are of  a vague trip to the park and we had no real contact with that side of the family.  We lived in my granparents flat with my aunt & uncle also until my mother re-married.

It was lovely having such a big family all together, my Uncle was just so cool, he always played really daft games with us and thanks to him I think I have good taste in music, its also thanks to him that I arrived where I am now, but more of that another time.  I have to take a break from here now because I have a lot of other things to do, and I do things slowly still, but I hope ot be able to come back and write some more later.
